Octagon Wildlife is deeply saddened by the passing of J Foster Pate on October 31, 2011, a volunteer advisory board member for 30 years and large contributor to the growth of the Fort Myers area.  Click here to read more about Foster.

Octagon suffered a great loss at the passing of our good friend and forever volunteer and supporter George Ellsworth.  George passed away on May 14th, 2022.  He had not only been a supporter of Octagon since the 90's, but an amazing part of our Octagon family.  He was there to support Pete Caron, our founder.  Throughout the years, he continued his support of the animals by volunteering, donating, and offering support to our executive director, Lauri, after Pete's death.  He will be forever missed.
