Latin name:  .

Charlie, a female caracal, was born, raised and sold in captivity to help educate people about her species. She started to get aggressive towards men and needed to be retired. She was born in 2008 and will live 12 to 15 years. Caracal's are originally from Africa and Asia and thought to be related to the Serval rather than the Lynx. If you look closely at her ears, she has black tuffs of hair coming out near the tips.
